Fellow iAero Pilots, It is my honor and personal pleasure to report that after more than eight years of trust and patience, we have been presented a reciprocal jumpseat agreement by our ALPA brothers and sisters at Delta Air Lines. The agreement is now active and available for use by our pilots. Here’s what you need to know: -Jumpseat listing and check in may be accomplished at the gate. -This agreement is for Delta mainline only; agreements for Delta’s fee-for-departure (regional) carriers will be based on those individual agreements. -Please refer to the Jumpseat Master List for any Delta regional agreements. -All pilots should review the attachment providing the policies for Jumpseating on Delta Air Lines. This agreement is a greatly appreciated benefit for our pilots, graciously extended by the DAL MEC and Jumpseat Committee, Delta Air Lines Flight Operations and Delta’s pilot group to iAero pilots. I wish to extend my personal thanks and appreciation to three individuals who helped us achieve this goal: Captain Robbie Fernandez, interim ALPA Jumpseat Council chair, former DAL MEC JSC chair and life-long friend and former colleague; Captain Ben Wallander, DAL MEC Executive Administrator and former DAL MEC JSC member; and Captain Cris Dalmau, DAL MEC JSC chair.
