Apple Vision Pro was initially available in the United States and it took some time before consumers from other countries could buy it. Recently, the Cupertino tech titan announced that the newest mixed-reality headset is now available in Apple Store locations in Singapore, China, Hong Kong, and Japan.
This is the first time the Vision Pro has been available outside the US, where it has been on sale since February.

Apple Vision Pro Now Available For the First Time Outside the US
According to MacRumors, the Apple Vision Pro's sales in the US appear to have plunged since its launch. At the time, the iPhone maker noticed that more customers were losing interest in the next-gen wearable.
For a mixed-reality headset, it's more expensive than Meta's latest offering, the Quest 3 at $3,499. The latter is priced at $500 only. With this, Apple knows what it's up to, expanding its availability in the United Kingdom (UK) and Canada on July 12.
On the same day, the headset will also become available in Australia, France, and Germany. Apple's strategy aims to capture new markets and boost sales.

New Updates with visionOS 2
At WWDC earlier this month, Apple introduced visionOS 2, the first major update to the Vision Pro's operating system. This update includes several new features and improvements:
- A redesigned Photos app with SharePlay support
- The ability to convert 2D photos into spatial photos
- A larger ultra-wide version of Mac Virtual Display, equivalent to two 4K monitors side by side
- Support for a physical mouse
These improvements aim to improve the user experience and address some of the initial concerns.
Will There Be an Apple Vision Pro 2?
In other news, PC Gamer reports that Apple has suspended the development of the Apple Vision Pro successor. Reports suggest that the company will be focusing on bringing a more affordable alternative to the current wearable headset.
Apple could mean that there will be a toned-down version of the Vision Pro with smaller speakers, fewer cameras, and a simpler headband.
The same report also says that the project codenamed "N109" has been in the works for the past two years. If it will be launched today, Apple will price it at around $1,600.
