Showcasing ExxonMobil to future generations 📚 🌍 We were thrilled to present ExxonMobil Fawley at the ‘2024 Inspiring STEM’ event at the National Oceanography Centre, organised by EBP South in partnership with Southampton City Council. Hundreds of school students from across Hampshire attended to participate in our team-building STEM activities and interact with our team of exceptional ambassadors. 💡 We hope students were able to explore the wide range of opportunities that a STEM education provides. It’s a career that not only provides excitement, rewards, and variety; it also empowers individuals to make meaningful contributions to society through careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. #weareSTEM

A day of Caring at Waterside Veterans Club 🧱🔨 ☀️ With the arrival of Summer, ExxonMobil Fawley employees, in collaboration with colleagues from our valued contractors Stork and Matchtech, joined forces with the Waterside Veterans to create a tranquil outdoor seating area for the club. In a true display of teamwork, the team utilised their expertise to lay and construct a new patio and paint the surrounding fences, culminating in the renovation of the outdoor space. 🎖 To commemorate the recent 80th Anniversary of D-Day, the project was made even more special by the assembly of a bespoke Spitfire mural on the wall of the Veterans Club. ✅ For many years, ExxonMobil Fawley has been proud to undertake its Day of Caring scheme, with this latest project continuing the team’s tradition of volunteering time to our local communities.

Introducing the newest generation of 'Mini Medic' lifesavers 🧑⚕ ⛑️ 🏫 More than 1,500 Hampshire school children will now learn lifesaving skills through the programme secured by a £20,000 donation from ExxonMobil Fawley. ExxonMobil and New Forest First Aid Training, in collaboration with Hampshire County Council, have initiated a series of engaging and educational classroom sessions, aiming to deliver vital skills through captivating activities. ✅ As pupils continue to embark on their journey to become ‘Mini Medics’, topics will include an introduction to first aid, how to use a defibrillator, and the correct way to perform CPR. New Forest First Aid Provider, Sarah Prestridge said, “Thanks to ExxonMobil Fawley, we are already making significant strides in delivering lifesaving training to thousands of students. “We are immensely grateful for their support and hope this initiative will continue to grow, allowing us to equip even more young people with the skills they need to save lives and assist in emergencies.” 📄 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eg4Mm8i7

Supporting our local heroes saving lives at sea 🌊 🛟 ExxonMobil Fawley is proud to contribute £4,500 to SOLENT RESCUE INDEPENDENT LIFEBOAT CHARITY. The funds will provide the dedicated rescue team with essential new crew dry suits and life jackets, ensuring their safety as they courageously carry out rescue missions across the Solent region. Founded in 1971 and on-call 24/7, Solent Rescue is entirely self-funded and operates solely through the efforts of dedicated volunteers.
