Each year, we get excited to support the Breakthrough T1D Cliff Harris Golf Tournament in Dallas to fund the mission to cure Type 1 Diabetes. Friends, family and employees all rally to support our very own Pro Football Hall of Famer, Cliff Harris. Harris' life has been about much more than just sports, his achievements illustrated by a successful career in the energy field, where he still works today, and by his charity work. For the past 17 years, Harris has raised millions of dollars for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, now known as Breakthrough T1D.

As a proud annual supporter of the San Antonio Food Bank, we recently presented the organization with $50,000 for its Food Rescue Truck and Grocery Rescue Program. This program rescues safe, nutritious food from being discarded by large retailers and restaurants, and re-distributes it to families and individuals in need. On average, each truck procures 16,100 pounds of food weekly, and distributes it to residential shelters, childcare centers, program sites for seniors, afterschool program sites, community kitchens, food pantries, and religious institutions all serving those in need of assistance.

Thank you to our Houston employees for volunteering at Kids’ Meals. We worked alongside other volunteers to prepare healthy lunches for over 8,600 preschool-aged children in our community. The meals prepared will be in the hands of hungry children soon! Thank you Kids’ Meals for the great work you are doing in our community and thank you to our volunteers for helping to feed our future.

Our engineering interns learned about compression fabrication in a hands-on visit to SEC Energy. Each summer we welcome a new group of college students to participate in one of our 12-week internship programs. Available at thirteen different offices in eight cities around the U.S., our internship focuses include engineering, business development or finance.
#FlashbackFriday to last week, when we had the pleasure of hosting the summer interns from Energy Transfer at our facility to learn more about natural gas—from extraction to your home! Our team guided them through every step, starting at the wellhead where it all begins, to understanding the intricate journey this essential resource takes before reaching you. They got an up-close look at our equipment fabrication process and learned firsthand about the services we provide to our customers. It was an eye-opening experience for everyone involved! At SEC Energy, we're proud to contribute to the partnership with Energy Transfer, ensuring seamless operations and reliable energy solutions. To all the interns, we wish you continued success in your educational journey and look forward to seeing the great things you'll accomplish in the future! #NaturalGas #Internship #Energy #Midstream #Compression #Fabrication

Meet A.J., a GHG Technician for our Western Division operations. He is responsible for maintaining environmental compliance by conducting monthly and quarterly Optical Gas Imaging inspections, and developing action plans for maintenance. A.J. also coordinates with the compression and processing groups, as well as environmental personnel, to report and analyze operational data. We use Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) cameras at our more than 2,200 gas gathering and processing facilities. These OGI cameras represent leading-edge technology and are an integral part of our rigorous leak detection and repair (LDAR) program. In addition to reducing emissions, the OGI camera inspections improve safety, reduce costs, prevent product loss, maintain equipment integrity, and are part of our safety management plan. Safety is always our number one priority -- the safety of our people, our assets, the community and the environment. Our facilities operations teams are dedicated to upholding these safety values and doing the right thing.
