Have you heard of SPOT? Our Secure Portal Online Tool (SPOT) provides many great features to providers, billing services and clearinghouses at no cost. If you do not currently have access, we recommend getting setup today. The first step is to complete a portal enrollment form. There are two versions of this form: one for provider offices and one for billing services and clearinghouses. These forms were updated June 24. Make sure you use the most recent version of any EDI form when enrolling for EDI services or updating your existing EDI status. The updated forms have a revision date of R2-23. Any older versions will be rejected as of Aug. 25. There is no need to submit these updated forms if you are already enrolled for SPOT and do not need to make any changes to your electronic billing setup. When initially enrolling for SPOT, or making changes, please carefully review the instructions to ensure successful completion. These enrollment forms are designed to be completed online and then printed and faxed (or mailed) to us. The form must be completed and approved before registering in the identity management (IDM) system, which is the second step needed to obtain access to SPOT.
