As part of the closing, Cape Regional Medical Center has been renamed Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional. "This agreement will transform health care for the residents and visitors of Cape May and Atlantic counties,” said George E. Norcross III, Chairman of Cooper University Health Care’s Board of Trustees. “We are ready to move forward and for our unified team to begin delivering the highest level of advanced health care to more people in shore communities and beyond. We are excited by the opportunity to build something extraordinary here.” “Today is a significant day and a new chapter for health care in Cape May County and beyond. What an incredible #PrideMonth! As June comes to a close, we're looking back at the past few weeks of memories and milestones: 🌈 We kicked off the month with Merchantville Pride Day, followed by our first-ever Cooper Pride Celebration. 🎉 The ribbon-cutting for our Cooper Center for LGBTQ+ Health in Collingswood was a highlight, and the Cooper Foundation raised over $115,000 celebrating that evening. ⭐ We proudly marched in the Haddon Township Pride Parade and joined the community for a night of celebration and education. ❤️ The festivities continued with the Collingswood Pop-Up Pride Event, and the Camden Pride Walk and Community Health Fair.
