    Do you struggle to attract top talent? It could be your job descriptions. A dry, generic list of responsibilities won't entice candidates, let alone top talent. Here's a quick tip: Focus on the "Why" – Instead of just outlining responsibilities, showcase the impact of the role!     Candidate experience is often overlooked in the hiring process. It shouldn't be... Organization who create stellar candidate experiences are more likely to attract top talent in competing offer situations, and will have an easier time getting a candidate to say yes to exploring a new position.

    Developing highly effective recruiting teams

    Lots of posts about candidate experience on LinkedIn these days. Balancing brand reputation and candidate experience should be a priority of any recruiting team/organization. One simple solution that I see a lot of organizations moving away from... Provide a rejection letter for folks who aren't a fit for the role. AND set a delay on when it's sent, IE 3+ days from the review. Every ATS (applicant tracking systems) in existence offers this. Why... because closing the loop with candidates is a bare minimum experience expectation. Applying into a blackhole doesn't create a good brand image. AND setting delays on rejection notifications, allows your team to review and action quickly and doesn't make the applicant feel like they were instantly rejected.

    Filling a open position for a company might seem simple from the outside looking in. IE find a good person, and get them started asap. From the client side, it's likely much more complicated. That person has ownership of a highly important initiative that is key to a product launch. The role might be the beginning of a new venture they can't discuss. Without the right person/s, other efforts may get blocked entirely or severely slowed down. the list goes on...
