Exciting progress! Coastal Drilling has completed the installation of micropiles, meticulously staked out by Triad Engineering. These structural supports are now perfectly cut to their designed elevations and enveloped in reinforced concrete and rebar. They'll play a crucial role in stabilizing our building's foundation, ensuring long-term stability and preventing any potential sinking of the slab over time. #ConstructionUpdate #BuildingFoundation #Micropiles #EngineeringExcellence

Deep well dewatering systems lower groundwater using drilled wells with electric submersible pumps. These systems are perfect for removing large amounts of water from deep, pervious formations. Do you need dewatering on your site? Choose from four main methods: wellpoints, sump pumping, eductor wells, and deep wells. Each must follow specific regulations and permits, especially if the water contains pollutants. Dewatering can be temporary during construction or permanent for the facility's lifespan. Triad offers all these services and more. Check out our website for more of our services! #Dewatering #ConstructionSolutions #GroundwaterManagement #EnvironmentalCompliance #TeamTriad

Do you know what the formula is for design bearing pressure? We do! The design bearing pressure equals the ultimate bearing capacity divided by a suitable factor of safety. The ultimate bearing capacity is the loading intensity that causes failure, lateral displacement of foundation materials, and rapid settlement… We know ^this^ so you don’t have to! Pictured is one of our technicians performing a DCP Test. DCP (Dynamic Cone Penetration) testing is used to determine the strength of the subsurface and the design load of the soil. The engineers perform the testing in-situ to estimate the load-bearing capacity the soil can withstand by measuring the extent of penetration into the ground of a calibrated tip or cone. #EngineeringExcellence #SoilTesting #DCPTesting #GeotechnicalEngineering #FoundationDesign #ConstructionScience #LoadBearingCapacity #TeamTriad

We've already measured over a foot of sunshine this morning, which means it's going to be another scorcher! With record high temperatures and long-lasting heat wave conditions expected this week, please remember these safety tips to stay cool throughout the summer: • Hydrate: Drink water regularly, every 15 minutes or four cups per hour, and keep it within easy reach. Staying hydrated can help prevent heat stroke and provide energy. Avoid alcohol the night before. • Take breaks: Schedule frequent breaks to prevent your body from overheating. • Wear protective clothing: Wear light-colored, loose-fitting, breathable clothing made from natural materials like cotton, and avoid synthetic fabrics. Also wear a brimmed hard hat with UV protection and safety glasses. • Apply sunscreen: Regularly apply sunscreen to protect against the sun's UV rays. • Adjust your schedule: Consider changing your work schedule and making other adjustments to your facilities and working conditions to reduce heat stress. • Acclimatize: Gradually increase your exposure to the elements over a period of one to two weeks. • Use cooling fans/towels: Cooling fans/towels can be an effective part of your heat management system. #SummerHeat #HeatWave #StayCool #SafetyTips #RecordTemperatures #Scorcher #SunshineMeasurement #SummerSafety #HotWeather #HeatWaveSafety #StayHydrated
