Hi everyone, just a reminder that if you are on Salesforce Summer 24 which everyone should be now, email verfication is now enforced for your end users. Certain end users may get an error stating "INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS: User does not have a verified email address". I know this is highlighted on the Salesforce Support Banner right now as well. Here is a link to how to rectify and who is impacted: https://lnkd.in/gmgvzGWG #salesforce #summer24

Anthony Casanova and I had a great trip with the University of Wyoming. Thank you for being such gracious hosts and I look foward to a bright future serving students.
We'd like to give a special #ThankfulThursday shout out to University of Wyoming! We had the pleasure of being onsite with their admissions team this week. It was a great opportunity to strategize together around the optimization of Salesforce and Enrollment Rx to support their recruitment and process efforts. We're thankful to have them as a strategic partner serving the students of Wyoming and beyond!

I had the pleasure of meeting/working with multiple clients this week in person and I wanted to share a few thoughts: 1. In person is almost always superior to remote. Sure there is a place for remote meetings, but in-person opens up the communication channels and trust. 2. Relationships are built in-between the work meetings. Sure work is important, but what are their hobbies, interests, stories beyond the workplace? 3. Being onsite allows for emotional empathy. Being in the buildings, and places allows me to put myself even that much more in the client shoes. It becomes greater than a data point but rather connects data to reality. 4. Allows you to go the extra mile in service. Buy them coffee, lunch or dinner, offer to bring them x y or z. It brings another level of appreciation. I can honestly say with any of the clients I engaged with this week, if I were to no longer work where I work or vice versa, I wouldn't hesitate to connect/support and encourage beyond our roles now. While I don't like being away from my family/travel, by far my favorite part of the work I get to do is helping clients succeed, and in person is the best way to do so. #clientsuccess #salesforce #customerservice

Is your Salesforce Org (including your lightning community) ready for the new Lightning UI? While the timeline appears to be TBD as it rolls out here is a helpful help article to review to make sure that the upgrade does not impact your org and you can plan accordingly. https://lnkd.in/gemHxKj8

So proud of Anthony and his growth in Salesforce and professionally. Please join me in congratulating him on this newest accomplishment!
I'm excited to share that I have earned the Salesforce Certified Data Architect certification. This credential tests your understanding of Salesforce data modeling and database design, data governance, master data management systems, migrating data, handling large data volumes and much more. This is the 3rd out of the 4 certifications needed on my journey to become a Salesforce Application Architect. The last stop is Product Development 1! If you want more info on the Application Architect Certification I have it liked below. https://lnkd.in/gK58MRdt

Salesforce Tip: SystemModStamp vs LastModifiedDate What is the difference between these 2 system date values on a record and why does it matter? 1. Last Modified reflects a change by a user on a record in Salesforce but is not an indexed field. 2. SystemModStamp reflects that change as well but is an indexed field and will also reflect record changes related to: a. The archive date is extended by more than 365 days. b. An existing picklist value is updated and not replaced with an existing picklist value. c. A Contact's e-mail address is flagged, as per the 'Email Bounce Management' configuration. d. The 'LastActivityDate' field is modified. e. A Roll-up summary field is created, which will update all the parent records' 'SystemModstamp' asynchronously. Why does this matter? Well when building a SOQL query it is important to note that these 2 date fields can have differing values, and an indexed field is important when dealing with large data volumes. This here is a great guide breaking down developer considerations when using the 2 fields: https://lnkd.in/eGM2c2hF #salesforce #developer #awesomeadmin

I know there is a lot of talk now days on the devaulation of Salesforce certificates, and I understand the argument. However, when approached correctly, I think they remain one of the best tools in understanding and learning Salesforce. I specifically feel this about Architect related certifications, as they bring so much value in understanding the "why" vs the "how". If you are considering your next certification and have been working within Salesforce for a while, I highly recommend going through the studying of Sharing and Visibility and Data Architect. For me personally those have brough a high level of understanding and considerations when working with the crm daily. #salesforce #certifications

Personal post but it’s been our first vacation since last fall. I often find it’s not till you actually sit down for that first deep breath unplugging from work that you realize how much you needed it. It also makes me greatful for the rockstar team I can lean on while out of the office. My kids are in that special time of life where I value time with them most of all. Take the time, play a board game with them, eat s’mores and laugh. Everyday is a gift.
