How do you interview 200 hourly workers in 48 hours to learn about their job search & career goals? If you’re Allen Narcisse and the team at Gigs, you use HEARD’s AI-powered customer interviews. 💻 Gigs is a job marketplace that connects hourly workers with the best earning opportunities in their neighborhood. They wanted to talk to job seekers to discover how to improve their product, but 90% of the people who scheduled a customer interview didn’t show up. Allen turned to HEARD because our AI-driven platform could help them design research studies, moderate customer interviews, and summarize the results into a report, instantly. HEARD saved Gigs hundreds of hours on customer research, and enables their team to interview job seekers every month and collect valuable insights to inform their product strategy. 📈 Listen to Allen describe how Gigs used HEARD to build a customer persona, and read the full case study here: https://lnkd.in/ghsv5kWX

Crafting your product narrative is like writing an epic novel. 🗺️⚔️🐉 And just like the epics we know and love, there are heroes and villains, damsels in distress, and magical weapons that appear just in time to save the day. The hero of your product narrative is not your company — it’s your customer. Your customer is on an epic journey to “rescue” someone or something important to them — that’s the outcome they want to achieve. But, a scary beast stands in their way (the obstacles your customer faces). Just when they think the battle is lost, a magical weapon shows up to help them save the day — that’s where your solution comes in. Writing your product narrative requires a deep understanding of your customer, their journey, and the obstacles that stand in their way. Here’s how to create your own epic product story using examples from NotionVenmoSpotify, and Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. 💡

The issues are big and thorny: given the potential for harm that exists alongside the potential for good, how will AI best meet the social, economic and political needs of our ever-changing society? How are organizations understanding and implementing ethics into their development, practice and deployment of AI? Ultimately, can the public and private sectors collaborate to establish mutual 'rules of the road' to maximize AI's benefits and minimize its potential for harm? Joined by Kene Anoliefo, Mario Schlosser, Nabiha Syed, and Olivia Z. – some of the foremost thinkers and doers – the conversation was lively, insightful, and practical. It will be fascinating to see what the future holds!

When you’re building something that you’re passionate about, it can be tempting to assume that everyone will be just as excited about your idea as you are. But what if they’re not? 👀 Before spending weeks or months building something new only to discover that it doesn’t solve an important problem, validate customer needs upfront by running customer interviews. These conversations will help you confirm whether or not people care about the problem space, and if they do, what their top needs, challenges and obstacles are. These are a few of the good and bad signals you should look for when validating customer needs using examples from real, AI-powered interviews done using HEARD. 💡 For more insights, check out out guide on customer interviews: https://lnkd.in/gk38Rmqc

Read about how we worked with Katalina Mayorga to develop the AI strategy for El Camino Travel using HEARD, our product that helps companies scale research through AI-powered customer interviews. Before building a single feature, Katalina and her team used HEARD to conduct 900(!) user interviews. The insights from these interviews helped to inform which problems were most important to solve for her customers and why. AI, like any new and innovative technology, is only useful when it can help your customers achieve the goals they care most about. Rather than spending cycles building things people don't want, invest in rapid research upfront to gain a deep understanding of what matters most to your customers. https://lnkd.in/gTK6dk3q

We did 900+ customer interviews before we created an AI strategy. Here’s what we learned.
