A study on Effectiveness of Training in Commercial Banks of BangladeshDr. Nazrul Islam
When the trainings are effective, Return on Investment (ROI) in training becomes visible in the organization. To identify the effectiveness of training in the commercial banks of Bangladesh, this study explores the role of trainer quality as a predictor of self-efficacy, motivation to transfer, authentic leadership, and training system effectiveness (TSE). It also examines the mediation role of self-efficacy, motivation to transfer, and authentic leadership between trainer and the training systems of commercial banks in Bangladesh. Data were collected from 625 employees of commercial banks in Bangladesh. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was applied to test the hypotheses. Results revealed a significant and positive impact of trainer quality on self-efficacy and motivation to transfer of training.
